Regular golfers at Marina Bay Golf Course may have noticed some changes to the golfing landscape recently. As part of the landscaping project to beautify the course and offer a different golfing experience to golfers, a total of 60 trees were transplanted to different areas within the golf course.
In response to how the trees will change the golf experience, Golf Manager Danny Tan said, "Newly transplanted trees at various holes offer golfers a better assessment of their tee shots. We hope to see more golfers land their shots accurately."
In two to three months' time, as the trees grow in maturity, they will provide shade for golfers. Look out for the trees at both sides of Hole 3, left side of Hole 5, between Hole 11 and 17, Hole 16 and 17 as well as Hole 10 and 18.
