We are consistently maintaining our golf course to improve your golf experience at Marina Bay Golf Course.
Nonetheless, we highly encourage golfers to continue practising proper course etiquette.
Please repair divots and ball marks as you play. Repair any damage you have made to the golf course to ensure that everyone gets to enjoy the game and course in the long run.

The Canopy Cafe (9 Aug)
In view of space constraint and social distancing measures, please note that The Canopy Cafe (including Canopy T) will not be open to the public from 6pm onwards on 9 August (Sunday).
Last order for the public is at 4.30pm and all patrons will have to vacate the premises by 5.30pm.
From 6pm onwards, the cafe will only admit golfing patrons. Golfing patrons include those who used golf facilities such as the golf course, driving range, putting course or practice greens. We regret that accompanying non-golfing guests will not be admitted.
Please note that a minimum spend of $25++ per pax will be required at the cafe.
Thereafter, the last order of food is at 9.30pm and last order for alcohol is at 9.45pm.
We regret any inconvenience caused and seek the kind understanding of all visitors on our safe management measures on National Day.

Public Holiday on 10 July
In view of the recent announcement regarding Singapore's General Election 2020, please note that 10 July (Friday), which is designated as polling day, will be a public holiday.
As such, public holiday rates will be applicable for bookings made. Golfers are advised to consider the above and take note that cancellation fees will be applicable once booking has been confirmed. Evening and night golfing will not be available on the public holiday.

Golf Course Bookings (Updated 16 June)
In view of the latest announcement by the government to allow the reopening of sports facilities in Phase 2 of the post Circuit Breaker period, Marina Bay Golf Course will be open on 19 June (Friday).
All 18 holes, driving range, practice greens and putting course will be open on Friday. Canopy T, MST Golf, Star Golf Academy and Detail Mania will also resume operations.
The Canopy Cafe is open as of 17 June. Takeaways are available. Please note that patrons are only allowed to dine-in from 19 June onwards with safe distancing measures in place.

COVID-19 Precautionary Measures (updated 8 Jul)
We care about the health and well-being of everyone at Marina Bay Golf Course.
In view of the reopening of Marina Bay Golf Course on 19 June 2020, precautionary measures will be introduced to minimize the risks of COVID-19 transmission.
SafeEntry visitor management system for contact tracing purposes and mandatory temperature screening of all visitors will be implemented. All visitors are advised to bring IDs or scan the QR code (see below) on the same date of visit and fill in their particulars prior to check-in. Save a screenshot of the successful check-in and show it to our screeners.
All visitors should wear masks, except during dining.
Please practise social distancing and maintain 1m apart from one another. While exercising and golfing, maintain 2m apart. Avoid congregating in groups. Group size should be limited to 5 persons and groups should maintain 3m distance from one another. Events and tournaments are strongly discouraged.
Increased cleaning and disinfection of premises will be carried out. Buggies are washed and disinfected after each use.
While sanitisers are provided at high contact areas, patrons are advised to bring their own sanitisers for use at their own convenience.
Golfers are also strongly advised to make their bookings for golf games online or opt for contactless payment methods at the counter.
Lead golfers are advised to ensure that all player details (eg. golfer category, player full name and voucher to be applied) are correct and complete. Updates must be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org least 24 hoursbefore tee time and play date.
Registration & Check-In
In view of the potential delay arising from the screening, golfers who have booked a golf game, are advised to come by earlier than usual. Lead golfers should register and check-in on behalf of flight mates who are present.
No Use of Locker, Shower & Changing Facility
Based on safe management guidelines by SGA, there will be no use of locker, shower and changing facilities. Golfers are advised to come in golf attire.
Golfers who are playing on the golf course should take note of the following:
Use of twin-sharing buggy with divider. Golfers are advised against swopping of seats in buggy and adjusting the divider.
Golfers who decline to share a buggy or use an available golf scooter will not be allowed to proceed with the game. No additional fee for use of golf scooter which is subject to availability.
No sharing of personal equipment. Golfers should pick up your own golf balls and handle their own scorecards.
Keep gloves on at all times.
Do not remove flag stick from the hole. A ball retrieval device has been installed on the flagstick in each hole.
Loading/unloading of golf bags should be done by golfers personally.
No cleaning of clubs upon buggy return.
Play will be abandoned during inclement weather. Golfers are advised not to congregate after the game.
Refrain from leaving golf bag at bag rack for prolonged period.
Temporary Local Rules
The following local rules will be in play until further notice.
The flagstick must be left in the hole at all times. Please do not remove the flagstick.
A ball at rest in the hole will be considered to be holed even if it is not entirely below the level of the hole.
To enable a ball to be easily extracted from the hole without touching the sides, a ball retrieval device has been installed on the flagstick in each hole.
Rakes have been removed from all bunkers.
When a player's ball lies in a bunker, the player may take free relief once by placing the original ball or another ball and playing from the relief area.
Reference point: Spot of the original ball.
Size of the relief area: One club length but must not be closer to the hole and must remain in the bunker.
Players are requested to smooth bunkers using their feet or a club after retrieving their balls.
Restricted entry to driving range, practice greens and putting course.
Maintain 2m apart from one another while golfing.
Do not congregate in groups at the driving range.
SafeEntry Visitor Management is in place at every level of the driving range for contact tracing purposes.
Spectator viewing and waiting of bays are not allowed at the driving range.
Please do not share personal equipment/clubs.
Removal of pin flags from practice greens and putting course. Maximum 4 golfers at any one practice green. Maximum 20 balls per golfer.
We seek your co-operation to comply with the above social distancing and precautionary measures. Pleaseremain vigilant and continue to adopt good personal hygiene practices. We thank you for being socially responsible and for helping to keep our community safe.
To facilitate social distancing between golfers, we have installed plastic buggy dividers on all buggies.
As the usage of each buggy is on a twin-sharing basis, golfers are advised not to swop seats or remove the buggy dividers.
Option to use our two or three-wheel scooters is available but these are on a first-come, first-served basis and subject to availability on the date of play.
Golfers are advised to play with people they are familiar with and to ensure that they practise good personal hygiene habits at all times.
Please refrain from booking 3 slots within a tee time if the group does not wish to play with strangers. MBGC reserves all rights to slot in golfers to fill any vacant slots without having to inform the lead golfer.

We will be introducing evening and night golf on Tuesdays.
As such, golfers will be able to play evening and night golf from Tuesday to Friday. Please note that lighting fees will be applicable for the below tee times.

Stellar Wins for Marina Bay Golf Course in 2019 Asian Golf Awards
The 2019 Asian Golf Awards ended on a high note as it gave out prestigious awards to winners from a total of 47 categories at the awards ceremony staged at DLF Golf & Country Club in Gurugram, India on 6 November 2019.
Marina Bay Golf Course distinguished itself once again with its 5th consecutive win in the ‘Best Public Golf Course in Asia Pacific’ category. The 18-hole public golf course also bagged the ‘Best Value for Money Experience in Asia Pacific’ award. Among its other stellar wins were First Runner-Up for ‘Best Course in Singapore’ and Second Runner-Up for ‘Best Maintained Course in Asia Pacific’.
The ‘Asia Pacific Golf Life-Time Achievement Award’ was conferred on Mr Choo Wee Khiang, General Manager of NCI Golf, in recognition of his longstanding contributions to the development and success of Marina Bay Golf Course and the 7000-strong golfing community, my golf kaki. Golf Manager, Mr Stanley Ho went on to receive Second Runner-Up for ‘Best Golf Manager of the Year’.

Online Rain Check Redemptions
Rain check redemption is now available online for rain checks which are issued in September.
In the event that a golfer is issued a rain check, he/she will receive a Rain Check Voucher Code via email.
The Rain Check Voucher Code can be entered when the lead golfer is making an online booking for the next golf game.
After a tee time has been selected, the lead golfer can enter player details and the Rain Check Voucher Code under the ‘Promo Code/Voucher’ field.
Please note that the email address provided for the player redeeming the rain check must be the same email address which received the Rain Check Voucher Code.
Players without email address can provide their contact number. Similarly, the contact number will have to be the same number for the player who has been issued the Rain Check Voucher Code.

Cessation of Collection of NRIC and Other National ID Numbers
In compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act, Marina Bay Golf Course will cease to collect, process or use NRIC and other national identification numbers during the booking of golf games when the new booking system, including the online booking portal, is implemented before 1 September 2019.
Singapore citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident who wishes to enjoy the local rate of golf charges applicable to him or her is required to present his or her NRIC during registration at the reception on the date of play for verification purpose. Failure to produce his or her NRIC for verification will result in the rate of Foreign Visitor golf charge being imposed.
Physical checking and sight of the NRIC is for the purpose of establishing the identity and nationality of the individual golfer. The NRIC will be returned immediately to the individual golfer with no collection of personal data after the verification.
Launch of New Website and E-Booking Portal
As part of our ongoing efforts to enhance your user experience, we have introduced a new website in August.
The website revamp will include a responsive web design, refreshing new look, and user-friendly navigation. We welcome feedback and suggestions on this website which can be sent to us via email at email@example.com.
We are also pleased to inform that a new online booking system is in the pipeline and will be introduced by September.
Change of Timesheet on Wednesdays
Please note that the timesheet on Wednesdays will be changed to single barrel, with effect from 8 May.
Tee times 7.00am to 11:50am will be available for booking on Wednesday mornings.
Afternoon tee times will remain as single barrel, with tee times ranging from 12.20pm to 3.24pm. This will be followed by evening and night golf.
