Is Golf Insurance compulsory?

Yes, all golfers must have their own golfers' insurance. For those without, they must purchase their golfers' insurance from MBGC on a per round basis at registration. If any risk occurred is not covered by the golfer’s insurance, the golfer shall be liable for the occurrence of such risk himself/herself.

Pace of Play

What is the pace of play at MBGC?

All golfers are expected to play at a good pace. It is everyone's responsibility to keep pace with the group in front. Golfers are expected to complete playing 9 holes under 2 hours 10 minutes and playing 18 holes under 4 hours 25 minutes. Golfers who are behind their time position on the golf course have to speed up to their original time clocking position on the golf course. Golfers who are not able to do so may be requested to skip holes and there shall be no refund of any fees paid.

Handicap Requirement

Is it compulsory to have a valid Handicap to play at Marina Bay Golf Course?

Yes, all golfers must produce their latest/current and valid official handicap certificates, failing which the golfer who wishes to play shall go for and pass a golf course swing assessment conducted by MBGC’s official or its authorized professional at a non-refundable fee of $10 (subject to GST) per test per person.

Can I produce my PC Card instead of a Handicap Certificate?

Adults with proficiency certificates (“PC”) issued by SGA associated and ordinary local golf clubs are allowed to play in MBGC on weekdays before 2.00pm only subject to booking and availability of tee times. PCs issued by other golf academies/entities/bodies will not be recognized by MBGC. There shall be no more than two (2) PC holders in each flight and two (2) PC holders are not allowed to share a buggy unless approved by MBGC.

Club Rental

I will be flying in from overseas and would like to rent golf clubs for my round at Marina Bay Golf Course. Is that possible?

Golf clubs are available for rent at our resident pro shop, MST Golf, at the price of $65 per set of golf clubs or $10 per club. Reservation and collection may be made directly with them at +65 63425743.

Do you have a designated storage space for golf bags or luggage?

Due to the limited space onsite, we regret that storage service is unavailable. Golfers may keep their small-sized belongings in the lockers located inside the changing room facility.

Dress Code

Is there a dress code if I were to play at Marina Bay Golf Course?

Yes, all golfers are expected to wear appropriate golf attire. The use of soft spikes golf shoes is compulsory on the golf course. Torn, patched, scanty or provocative attire is not acceptable.

Payment

What payment modes do you accept?

We accept Cash, NETS, Visa, MasterCard, Flashpay, Paywave, Union Pay and AMEX at our Golf Reception.

Are there any Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) at Marina Bay Golf Course?

We do not have any ATM at our premises. The nearest ATM is located at Stadium MRT.

Do you accept foreign currency at Marina Bay Golf Course?

All rates are shown in SGD (Singapore Dollars) and will be collected in the same currency.

We do not have shuttle bus services to Marina Bay Golf Course.

Can I ride my bicycle or electric scooter to Marina Bay Golf Course?

We have a designated area for parking of bicycles and other personal mobility devices. Please note that parking of all personal mobility devices will be at owners’ risk.

I’m a single player and do not mind joining other social golfers for a game of golf. How do I go about making my booking?

Please note that single ball bookings are subject to availability and pairing with other players. You may book your slot on our website if there are already other players in one tee time. Alternatively, you may write in to us at [email protected] to enquire.

Do you accept 5 or 6-ball bookings?

Yes, we do have tee times on certain days for 5 or 6-ball bookings. You may email us at [email protected] to learn more and confirm your booking.

Are there caddies at Marina Bay Golf Course?

We do not offer caddy services at Marina Bay Golf Course. All buggies are equipped with advanced Global Positioning Systems for smooth navigation around the golf course.

Is it compulsory to take the buggy for my round of golf?

Due to safety reasons, walking is not permitted inside our golf course. Twin-sharing buggies are included for use in the golf charges.

What is the 6-Hole Putting Course?

Marina Bay Putting Course was launched in 2017. This par-24, 6-hole course features 211 metres of natural grass putting surface with undulations, careful contouring and holes of varying lengths. It is fun and challenging for the whole family and serious golfers alike.

Is there a dress code for Marina Bay Putting Course?

While there is no fixed dress code for the Putting Course, flat sole shoes are compulsory. Patrons are advised to dress in appropriate and comfortable clothing.
