World Golf Awards 2020

The annual World Golf Awards is back for its 7th installation and Marina Bay Golf Course has once again been nominated!

The World Golf Awards™, which is a part of World Travel Awards™, serves to recognise, reward and celebrate excellence in golf tourism, world-class courses and golf destinations. Awards are categorized by continent as well as country (Asia Best Golf Destination 2020, Singapore's Best Golf Course 2020 etc). More than 200 awards will be given out at the World Golf Awards Gala Ceremony which will be held at Park Hyatt Dubai, UAE in October 2020.

Award winners will be decided by a voting poll. Voting will be done by the golf community and the general public. Voting is now open until 1 September.

Being Singapore's only 18-hole public golf course, we are honored to be nominated once again in 'Singapore's Best Golf Course 2020' award category. Do show us your continued support by voting for Marina Bay Golf Course in this year's World Golf Awards!

Total Range™ Asia Pacific Debut

Marina Bay Golf Course partners with leading golf technology provider, Foresight Sports as the first and largest driving range in Asia Pacific to introduce Total Range™, a cutting-edge performance and entertainment technology, suitable for players of every age and skill level.

In an exciting move to benefit golfers at large and make golf more appealing to everyone, Marina Bay Golf Course announces the introduction of an enhanced, all-in-one entertainment experience at its 114-bay golf range facility.

Developed by technology partner, Foresight Sports, the new Total Range™ solution combines industry-leading launch monitor technology with a broad spectrum of performance entertainment software – including a precisely replicated digital version of the golf range outfield – to deliver an unmatched level of precision, variety, and pure entertainment value to players of every age and skill level.

According to Foresight Sports’ Vice President Jon Watters, Marina Bay Golf Course’s premier range facility is the perfect venue to showcase the future of the sport given the popularity and accessibility of the facility.

“What we’re most excited about is the opportunity to bring a complete game experience to the local golfing audience. Players can utilize every club in their bag, hit every type of shot, and experience a full round of golf, compete with other local and global participants, or play family-friendly mini-games. That’s really what sets Total Range apart – no limitations in experiencing the game the way players of all skill levels and ages want.”

Every bay at the Marina Bay Golf Driving Range will be equipped with Foresight Sports’ advanced tracking technology as well as a large touch-screen console that allows players to see real-time performance feedback and access a library of world-class championship courses, games and skill-building challenges. Competing friends and family can also keep track of their game results via a widescreen monitor located behind each bay.

“Technology has transformed the way we learn, teach and play. Our partnership with Foresight Sports is perfectly aligned with our aim to broaden the appeal of golf by making game technology more readily accessible. Our Total Range™ equipped facility will provide an unprecedented gameplay and entertainment experience not only to our existing range patrons, but to everyone who’s ever wanted to experience the game of golf,” said Ng Ser Miang, Chairman of NCI Golf.

Range patrons will have the option to use the launch monitor technology and gaming platform starting at $15 per hour.

The official launch of Total Range™ solution at Marina Bay Golf Driving Range is scheduled for 12 and 13 October. Event attendees will enjoy complimentary usage of the performance and entertainment technology, a chance to participate in games, club demonstrations, and skill challenges at selected bays, and opportunities to win exclusive prizes over the two days.
